“I am absolutely heartbroken as many in this country are right now,” Michaela said. “I was so honoured, humbled and privileged to have met my beautiful Queen and sing for her, especially so recently and perform such a pertinent song by Bethany Bisaillion.

“I knew she was unwell and it was emotional but it is a memory that will stay in my heart forever. Rest in peace, my beloved Majesty. Your reign will never be forgotten.  Your dignity was supreme to the end.”
